GE | DS200LDCCH1AGA | Drive Contro l/LAN Communications Board

The DS200LDCCH1AGA card is the drive control LAN communication board part of the Mark V DS200 series manufactured by General Electric.

It is used as a drive control and local area network (LAN) communications board. The card is installed in a Mark V Series replacement drive board compatible with GE brand DIRECTO-MATIC 2000 drives and exciters. The DS200LDCCH1AGA communications card has four built-in microprocessors. The LAN Control Processor (LCP) accepts five different bus types that feed into the drive. The Drive Control Processor (DCP) can also be used to handle analogue and digital I/O conversion. The DCP is also capable of controlling and converting peripheral I/O devices such as encoders and timers. A Motor Control Processor (MCP) is available to handle digital I/O sent to the drive, and if a calculation requires additional processing power not available from the DCP, the Coupling Processor (CMP) provides the additional power needed to perform these functions. The board has an alphanumeric keypad for system programming and diagnostic purposes.

Some of the test points for this model are P5, DCOM1/DCOM2, and FCLK. The P5 test point is used to help regulate the 5 volt power supply. Test point DCOM1/DCOM2 will control the 0 volt common reference used for all test signals. The FCLK test point indicates that the unit is active and that the 8 MHz output comes from the oscillator output of the motor controller processor as required. For all other test points, refer to Table 1 on page 5 of the LDCC manual.
