IS200EPSMG2A is an Exciter Power Supply Module part of the GE Mark VI series used in Excitation control systems. This series is a later version of General Electric's Speedtronic steam or gas turbine management system. The Mark VI features Ethernet capabilities and a PC-based operator interface that runs on the Windows operating system. All digital and analog data in the Mark VI can be accessed through this HMI (human-machine interface). The HMI, however, is a non-essential component of the control system, thus it can be changed or reinitialized without affecting the control system. The EPSM card is available in two versions for the Mark VI. The first (EPSMG1) is used in the thyristor system, while the second (EPSMG2) is employed in the regulator control.(For more GE products click here

This model will convert and send power to other external boards that are attached to the EPSM. One of the boards that power is sent to is the EGDM model which will receive 24 VDC.
