BENTLY NEVADA 3500/34 125696-01 4-Channel Relay Module
Part number:3500/34
Part No:125696-01
Product Description:4-Channel Relay Module
The 3500/34 TMR Relay Module is a module that consists of two main components: TMR relay components (two) and TMR relay input/output modules. After programming, the two TMR relay modules perform the same function in parallel, effectively providing redundancy between the two.
The TMR relay module drives three independent alarm contact signals for each of the four relay channels according to the user-programmed alarm drive logic. The alarm drive logic for each relay channel is programmed by the 3500 rack configuration software. In the TMR rack, three monitors simultaneously provide alarm signals (channel alarm, channel danger, monitor alarm, etc.) for this alarm drive logic through three independent data paths. The TMR relay module independently evaluates each data path, generates three alarm contact signals, and passes these alarm contact signals to the TMR relay input/output module.
In terms of specifications, the 3500/34 TMR Relay Module is a full-height module that provides four relay outputs, and any number of 4-channel relay modules can be placed in any transient data interface module slot on the right. Each output channel of the 4-channel relay module can be independently programmed to perform voting logic. The programming of the alarm drive logic uses AND and or logic and can use a combination of alarm inputs (alarm and danger states), abnormal states, or any combination of monitoring channels or monitoring channels in any rack. The alarm driver can be programmed to meet your application requirements using the 3500 frame configuration software.
There are different approaches to programming the TMR relay module. One approach is to use the AND and OR logic to program the alarm drive logic. Another approach is to use the alarm inputs to program the alarm driver. Each approach has its pros and cons.
Using AND and OR logic:
Pros:
Provides flexibility in programming the alarm drive logic.
Allows for complex logic to be implemented.
Cons:
Can be difficult to debug if the logic is complex.
May require more time to program and test.
Using alarm inputs:
Pros:
Easier to program and debug.
Can be faster to implement.
Cons:
May not provide as much flexibility as using AND and OR logic.
May not be able to implement complex logic.
