The bently 146031-01 is a Transient Data Interface I/O module developed by Bently Nevada. It is an I/O module component for the 3500/22M 10Base-T/100Base-TX Transient Data Interface (TDI). It serves as an interface between the TDI and compatible software to facilitate efficient communication and data acquisition for industrial machinery systems.

146031-01 Functional Description

The TDI comes with built-in static data capture capability. However, the Channel Enablement Disk is an optional device that enables the TDI to also record dynamic and high resolution transient data. 3500 racks include communication processing capabilities for the TDI.


The 3500/22M series transient data interface connects the 3500 monitoring system to Bently Nevada's System 1 machine management software. tdi combines the functionality of the 3500/20 rack interface module with the data collection capabilities of communication processors such as TDXnet.

The TDI works in the RIM slot of the 3500 rack with M-Series monitors (3500/40M, 3500/42M, etc.) to continuously capture steady-state and transient waveform data and transmit it to the host software via an Ethernet link. By default, the TDI captures static data, but installing additional channel-enabled disks also allows you to record dynamic or transient data.
