The 3500/50 module is a tachometer module that can accept input from proximity probes or magnetic pickups to determine shaft rotative speed, rotor acceleration, or rotor direction, and compare these measurements against user-programmable alarm setpoints to generate alarms when these setpoints are violated. This module has two channels and can be used for speed monitoring, alarm setpoint, and speed range alarm. The 3500/50 module can also be configured to provide an adjusted Keyphasor signal to the 3500 frame backplane to be used by other monitoring devices, eliminating the need for a separate Keyphasor module in the frame.
The 3500/53 card is an overspeed card element, which is a module for one channel, usually a group of two or three for overspeed protection
3500/42 card is the displacement, velocity and acceleration card piece. This card can be configured for shaft vibration, cover vibration, axial displacement, eccentricity, expansion difference, speed, acceleration and other signals.
The 3500/50 module can be used for speed monitoring, alarm setpoint, and speed range alarm. It can also be used for rotor acceleration and rotor direction. The module has two channels and can be used for two or three groups of overspeed protection applications. The module works in 2-of-1 or 3-of-2 alarm modes. The cards must be installed adjacent to each other, and only the first card's configuration needs to be set up. The remaining cards will synchronize with its configuration.
