Tricon CX Digital Output Module 3626X with GMI Terminal Block
TRICON-CX, DO card ref.3626X (32 CH) interface solution with intrinsically safe solenoid valves for safety applications requiring SIL 3 level of safety in safety related systems in high risk industries. The solution consists of single/dual channel intrinsically safe isolators suitable for installation in safe or hazardous areas (Zone 2/DIV.2) and outputs of Zone 0/Div.1.
Each isolator is mounted on a termination board TBE-D5016-TRI-007 (16 slots) 1XTBE for dual-channel modules, 2XTBE for single-channel modules, and the connection to the TRICON-CX is realised via the system cable reference.4X00188-3xx. Intrinsically safe and SIL3 rated isolators such as the D5048S and D5049S provide a high level of safety when the load is turned on and off. Intrinsically safe and SIL3 rated isolators such as the D5048S and D5049S provide load fault detection (short circuit/open circuit) both when the load is switched on and off: field faults are directly mirrored to the TRICON-CX DO and also reported via the open fault output.
