The 128240-01 is a preamplifier/seismic monitor I/O module designed and developed by Bently Nevada. It is part of the 3500/42M preamplifier seismic monitoring system. The four-channel seismic monitor receives data from proximity sensors and seismic sensors.

 It processes the signals to generate vibration and position measurements, compares the processed signals to user-programmable alarms, and conditions the processed signals. Radial vibration, REBAM, thrust position, acceleration, expansion differential, axis absolute, eccentricity, circular receiver area, and velocity can all be programmed to each channel using the 3500 Rack Configuration software.

128240-01 Features

The primary function of the Proximitor/Seismic Monitor is to provide mechanical protection by continuously comparing monitoring parameters with configured alarm set points to drive alarms and basic machine information for operations and maintenance personnel.

Depending on the configuration, each channel typically adjusts its input signal to generate various parameters called static values. 

You can set alarm and hazard setpoints for each active static value, as well as for any two active static values.

Transducer Types Seismic probe. Prox/Accel and Velomitor are supported, but not recommended.
