DELTA TAU ACC-51E 603736-101 High-Resolution Analog Encoder Interpolator Board.The DELTA TAU ACC-51E 603736-101 is a 2-axis 4096x high-resolution analog encoder interpolator board, which serves as an accessory board for the UMAC (Universal Motion and Automation Controller) system of Delta Tau Company. It is a 3U-sized card that can be installed in the same rack as Delta Tau's Turbo UMAC or Macro Station processors.
Functional Features
High-resolution Interpolation: It can increase the resolution of the analog encoder signal by 4096 times, creating 4096 steps per sine wave cycle, enabling high-precision position detection. For example, when used with a 1000-line sinusoidal rotary encoder, there are 4,096,000 discrete states per revolution.
Multi-channel Input: It can be connected to 2 or 4 (optional) sinusoidal or quasi-sinusoidal encoders, receiving the voltage source signals from the encoders with a signal amplitude of 1Vp-p.
High-speed Processing: The maximum input frequency of the sine cycle is approximately 8MHz, corresponding to a maximum speed of about 3.2768 billion steps per second.
Input Selection: The un-terminated or 120Ω input terminal can be selected through jumpers.
