The PM866K02 (3BSE050199R1) is a redundant processor unit for the ABB Advant AC 800M series, designed for industrial automation and control applications. The unit is part of a kit that includes two PM866 processors, two TP830 baseboards, two TB850 CEX bus extension cables, two TB807 ModuleBus terminators, a TK851 RCU-Link cable, and two batteries (4943013-6) CPU interfaces for memory backup.
The CPU board contains the microprocessor and RAM memory, real-time clock, LED indicators, INIT button, and CompactFlash interface.
The PM866 / PM866A controller's backplane has two RJ45 Ethernet ports (CN1, CN2) for connection to the control network and two RJ45 serial ports (COM3, COM4). One of the serial ports (COM3) is an RS-232C port with modem control signals, while the other port (COM4) is isolated for connection to a configuration tool. The controller supports CPU redundancy for higher availability (CPU, CEX-Bus, communication interfaces, and S800 I/O).
Simple DIN rail mounting/removal procedure using a unique sliding and locking mechanism. All baseboards are equipped with a unique Ethernet address that provides hardware identification for each CPU. This address can be found on the Ethernet address label affixed to the TP830 baseboard.
