ABB CI857K01 3BSE018144R1 INSUM Ethernet Interface Module
The integration of INSUM into the AC 800M supports higher functional integration, multi-point configuration, time allocation and time stamping in switching devices, and longer communication distances using standard Ethernet technology. For a closed loop, the solution is typically 500 msec (an indication to run from one motor to another, assuming a cycle time of 250 msec for control execution).
The AC 800M controller accesses INSUM functions through function blocks in the INSUM communication library. the CI857 is powered by the processor unit via the CEX bus, so it does not require any additional external power supply.
