EPRO's PR 6423/000-000 is an 8mm non-contact eddy current displacement sensor, specifically designed for critical turbomachinery applications such as steam turbines, gas turbines, etc. It can measure both static and dynamic displacements of shafts. It complies with multiple international standards and can be used in hazardous areas. Its measurement range is ±1.0mm for static displacement and 0-500μm for dynamic displacement, with a sensitivity of 8V/mm. The sensor is made of stainless steel and has different thread specifications, cable lengths, and connection methods. It can be paired with a variety of converters, offers multiple ordering options, and optional accessories include mounting brackets, armored cables, etc.
It is used to measure the position or movement of the shaft and is suitable for critical turbomachinery such as steam turbines, gas turbines, and compressors. By installing it at the bearing, the movement and position of the shaft can be measured directly, making up for the shortcomings of using casing vibration sensors for monitoring in sleeve - bearing machines.
