Triconex 3809X Analogue Output Interface Board Tricon CX Safety System.The Tricon CX Analogue Output Module (3809X, 16 channels) is an interface solution with intrinsically safe valve positioners for safety applications requiring SIL 3 level of safety in safety related systems in high risk industries. The solution consists of a single channel intrinsically safe isolator suitable for installation in a safe or hazardous area (Zone 2/DIV.2) and inputs for Zone 0/Div.1. Each isolator is mounted on an N.2 termination board (Ref. 1).The connection between the TB-D5016-TRI-010 (16 slots) and the Tricon CX digital input module is made via the system cable Ref. 4X00227-5xx.Intrinsically safe and SIL3 rated isolators (e.g., the D5020S) detect field opens or shorts reflecting the high impedance of the control device circuitry and activate (disconnect) the control device. impedance and activates (powers down) the channel fault output transistor and activates (powers up) the available cumulative fault outputs. Power Bus Connectors. When mounted on a custom termination board, fault output signals are available for each channel.
Termination boards provide a direct connection between Tricon-CX I/O cards and D5000 modules. Reduces cable installation and maintenance costs. Power to the module
is provided by the terminal board power bus.
