HIMA F3246A Controller F 3246A Digital Module
HIMA's H41/51q system is a CPU quadruple structure (QMR), i.e. the system has four microprocessors in the central control unit, each two microprocessors are integrated in a CU module, and two identical CU modules form a redundant central control unit. HIMA's 1oo2D structure has been certified for AK6/SIL3 safety. The purpose of the dual 1oo2D structure, i.e. 2oo4D, is to provide the user with maximum utility (availability) and fault tolerance so that the failure of any one component of the system does not affect the normal operation of the system. Compared with the traditional triplexed structure, its fault-tolerance function is more complete. At present, the quadruple structure of SIS has become the mainstream trend for the development of new systems by various professional manufacturers.
HIMA's SIS systems meet both the requirements of SIL3 security level (IEC 61508) and the need for very high availability. Depending on safety and availability needs, HIMA's SIS is available in single or redundant device configurations, not only at the central device but also at the I/O level. The redundant configuration increases the system availability, as one of the modules will be automatically removed in case of failure and the other redundant module corresponding to it will remain operational without any disturbance to the process.
