The TRICON CX 4355X is a communication module manufactured by Triconex and is used for the control of automation systems. This module has 32 differential input points and adopts a DC coupling method. It is capable of accepting an input voltage ranging from 0 to 5 volts direct current (DC) or from -5 to +5 volts DC. The input update rate is 10 milliseconds.
The network ports (NET 1 and NET 2) on the 4355X TCM are 100BASE - TX and 1000BASE - T (copper) or 100BASE - FX and 1000BASE - X (fiber optic) connectors. However, the ports support fiber optic media via the use of Small Form - factor Pluggable devices (SFP).
