The XVME-957 provides a high-capacity IDE hard disk drive and a 1.44 Mbyte 3.5" floppy disk drive in a single VMEbus slot. IDE (Integrated Drive Electronics) is a standard interface for connecting storage devices such as hard disk drives and CD-ROM drives to a computer. The 1.44 Mbyte 3.5" floppy disk drive is a legacy storage device that was commonly used in the 1990s and early 2000s .

The XVME-957 1 PC/XT VMEbus Adapter Module is a double-high, double-wide VMEbus compatible board that occupies two VMEbus card slots. The XVME-951 enables you to integrate your unique PC/XT short cards, such as modem and communication modules, into your VME bus system. The XVME-95111 is designed to operate with Xycom's XVME-684, XVME-686, or XVME-687 VMEbus PC/AT processor modules. The XVME-951/2 is designed to operate with the XVME-674, XVME-677, XVME-678, and XVME-688 VMEbus PUAT processor module.

The XVME-957 is a complete, single-high, VMEbuscompatible analog input module, capable of performing 12-bit A/D conversions on up to 32 different input channels. 

Each module comes standard with two 8-channel multiplexers which can be configured for 16 singleended, 16 pseudo-differential, or 8 differential analog inputs.
