The Motorola MVME55006E-0163 is a processor module featuring a Freescale MPC7477 PowerPC processor running at 1 GHz and up to 2 GB of DDR2 memory. It is designed to operate in rugged environments and supports an extended temperature range as well as shock and vibration resistance.
The MVME5500 series provides customers with a migration path from the MVME2300, MVME2400, MVME2600, MVME2700 and MVME5100 boards, allowing them to take advantage of features such as the MPC7455 processor, Gigabit Ethernet and 33/66 MHz PMC sites.
