It can present various key information of the 3500 Machinery Protection System, covering system event lists, alarm event lists, module and channel data, alarm and normal statuses. It also has nine custom display options and can group custom screens by machine train. The components of this monitor system include the 3500/94M VGA module, an I/O module, and a 10-inch or 15-inch VGA touch screen display. The display can be connected to the 3500 rack in various ways, such as through standard cables or KVM extenders, and the connection distances vary depending on the connection methods. In terms of functions, it can not only use standard cables and a Display Router Box to view data from up to four 3500 racks on one display, but also support remote data access. Users can select appropriate KVM extenders according to the distance. For example, a wired CAT5 UTP KVM extender can be selected for a distance of 6.4-305 meters, and a single-mode fiber optic (SM FO) KVM extender can be chosen for a distance exceeding 10 meters up to 10 kilometers.

10-inch Advantech VGA Touch Screen Display (ANA-D3510-100-A1): The dimensions are 249mm x 389mm x 48mm, the diagonal of the touch screen is 267mm, and it weighs 4.0kg. It is certified for use in hazardous environments. It uses an LCD with LED backlight and supports multiple installation methods, such as face mounting, 19-inch rack mounting, panel mounting, and independent mounting. The operating temperature ranges from -20°C to 65°C, and the humidity is 10% - 85% non-condensing.
15-inch Advantech VGA Touch Screen Display (FPM-8151H): The dimensions are 422mm x 338mm x 68mm, the diagonal of the display screen is 381mm, and it weighs 8.5kg. It uses an LCD with LED backlight and supports 19-inch rack mounting and panel mounting. The operating temperature ranges from 0°C to 60°C, and the humidity is 95%.
Technical Specifications: The maximum power consumption of the 3500/94M VGA display unit is 4.6 watts, and it has multiple input and output interfaces. The operating temperature ranges from -20°C to 65°C, the storage temperature ranges from -40°C to 85°C, and the humidity is 95% non-condensing. Different models of displays have their own technical parameters. For example, the 10-inch Advantech display is suitable for hazardous environments, and the 15-inch Advantech display has a higher protection level.

Installation Steps
(1) Installation of the 3500/94M VGA Module and I/O Module
Insert the 3500/94M VGA module into the corresponding slot of the 3500 rack. Ensure that it is firmly inserted and the interfaces on the module are in the correct orientation.
Install the I/O module in the designated position of the 3500 rack. Usually, it is installed adjacent to the VGA module or as required by the rack layout. Connect the internal data cables between the modules.
(2) Installation of the Display
Installation of the 10-inch Display
Surface-mounting method: Use the matching mounting brackets and screws to fix the display on the designated mounting surface. Ensure that the installation is firm and level.
19-inch rack installation: Install the display in a suitable position on the 19-inch rack and fix it using the rack-mounting accessories. Note to reserve enough space for heat dissipation and maintenance.
Panel installation: Drill holes in the mounting panel according to the panel-mounting dimensions of the display. Embed the display and fix it with the matching mounting screws.
Installation of the 15-inch Display
The 15-inch display is mainly installed using the 19-inch rack installation and panel installation methods. The installation steps are similar to those of the 10-inch display. However, note that the 15-inch display is larger in size, so make sure that the rack or panel can bear its weight during installation.
(3) Connecting the Display to the 3500 Rack
Standard cable connection: Use a standard cable (with a length of no more than 6 meters). Connect one end to the VGA output port and the touch-controller data interface of the 3500/94M VGA module, and the other end to the corresponding input ports of the display. Meanwhile, connect the 24Vdc power cable.
KVM extender connection
Wired CAT5 UTP KVM extender (for a distance of 6.4-305 meters): At the 3500 rack end, connect the extender transmitter to the corresponding interfaces of the 3500/94M VGA module; at the display end, connect the receiver to the display. Note that the transmitter should be installed in a safe area, and the receiver must meet the relevant certification requirements when installed in a North American Class I, Division 2 hazardous area.
Single-mode fiber optic (SM FO) KVM extender (for a distance of more than 10 meters-10 kilometers): Install the transmitter and receiver in safe areas respectively according to the extender's instruction manual. Connect the transmitter and receiver via a single-mode fiber optic cable, and then connect the power supply.
(4) Installation of the Display Router Box (when connecting multiple racks to a single display)
Install the display router box with a router cable (P/N 3500/94M-07-12-XX) on the first rack and connect the power supply cable.
Install the display unit with a router cable (P/N 3500/94M-(02 to 06)-12-XX) on the second rack, and simultaneously connect the power supply and power supply cable of the display.
On the third and fourth racks, only install the router box cable (P/N 3500/94M-00-12-XX).
