The UNITROL 1010 and UNITROL 1020 are automatic voltage regulators (AVRs) for synchronous motors up to 80 MVA. The AVRs are used for the excitation of indirectly excited synchronous motors and electric motors.
The UNITROL 1010 is a voltage regulator of the UNITROL 1000 series designed for small and medium-sized synchronous generators and industrial machines. It is based on advanced microprocessor technology and IGBT semiconductor devices that allow current outputs of up to 10 ADC for continuous operation.
The UNITROL 1010 is designed for high performance operation under severe conditions and in different temperature ranges and is fully compliant with DNV and UL standards. additional features of the UNITROL 1010 compared to previous versions are Ethernet, USB connection, data and event logging and many new functions.
The UNITROL 1010 is a compact unit designed for devices with excitation currents up to 10A. It shares the same interface and dimensions as the UNITROL 1020.
