Hima HI Quad Security Systems/Hima HI Quad Security Systems H41q/H51q Series MS/HS/HRS Redundancy Design
The H41q/H51q system is a CPU quadruple redundant structure (Qmr-quadruple modular redundant), i.e. the central control unit of the system has a total of four
microprocessors, with every second microprocessor integrated on a CU module, and then two identical CU modules forming the central control unit.
Dark Horse Safety Systems - Programmable Electronic Systems (PES) The HIQuad system consists of two main series, H41q and H51q, which are based on the same
hardware and software and are the third generation of the production-proven HIMA PES system. It is capable of flexible user configuration, monitoring and event logging
using a personal computer, and its outstanding performance provides the safest control guarantee for production control.
HIMA PES H41q/H51q system for the CPU quadruple structure (Qmr-quadruple modular redundant), that is, the system's central control unit has a total of four microprocessors,
every two microprocessors integrated in a CU module, and then by the same two CU modules constitute the central control unit. One CU module constitutes a 1oo2d structure,
and HIMA's 1oo2d structure products can meet the AK6/Sil3 safety standard. In order to provide users with maximum availability, a dual 1oo2d structure, i.e.
a 2oo4d structure, is used. In the case of the redundant structure, a high-speed dual RAM interface (DPR) enables the two central units to communicate, thus solving the problem
of fault-free repair time limitations. Its fault-tolerant function enables the failure of any component in the system without affecting the normal operation of the system.
The H51q series from Dark Horse Security Systems has a standard modular construction consisting of a 5-unit high 19-inch rack and up to 16 4-unit high 19-inch input/output
subracks. The central rack includes the central unit, interfaces, communication modules, monitoring and power modules.

Dark Horse Security Systems H41q/H51q - Features
Optional redundancy configurations allow great flexibility in system design to meet different needs.
The redundant structure, which is physically completely separated, eliminates the potentially fatal risk of a common part failure.
Parallel redundancy avoids disturbances caused by card switching and realises true "hot-swapping".
The low density of I/O modules further spreads the risk of card failure.
Intuitive programming, multiple integration and communication options.
Since 1997, it has been in use worldwide and has continued to innovate in its technology. To date, the "quadruple" architecture model is used in almost all new esd systems.
