ABB PFTL101B-20KN 3BSE004203R1 Pressure Transducers Pillow Load Cells.The PFTL101B-20KN is part of the Pressductor range of axial table load cells, specifically the horizontal measurement model PFTL 101. The PFTL101B-20KN is a water column pressure block loading unit designed primarily for horizontal measurement applications. Its main features are listed below:
Measurement Principle: All PFTL 101 model load cells are machined and fabricated from a single steel block. The transducer is then welded into the load cell and the output reacts to the force in the direction of the measurement and not in the other directions.
Sensor Measurement Principle: The sensor measurement principle is based on Pressductor® technology and the fact that the dielectric constant of a material changes under mechanical vibration.
Installation process: During the installation process it is necessary to prepare the load board, ensure the correct installation layout and carry out the wiring. In this operation, if not handled carefully, the load cells may be overloaded, especially if the rolling weight increases. The most critical load units are naturally the PFTL 101A-0.5 kN and the PFTL 101B-2 kN.
Maintenance: These load cells are very reliable and do not require daily servicing. However, it is recommended to regularly inspect all components that may be affected by mechanical fatigue.
