The IS2020RKPSG3A is a VME rack power module developed by General Electric. It is one of the most common VME rack power supply models. Each version has its own set of input and output standards. The unit has a rated output power of 400W. The rated input voltage is 125 Vdc. The Mark VI was one of the last Speedtronic steam or gas turbine management systems created and released by GE. This line of turbine management ran from the late 1960s, when they released the Mark 1 system through the 1990s with the release of the last two systems, the Mark 6 and the Mark VIe. The Mark VI, which can be built in single or TMR(three-mode redundancy) form, is built around a central control module. This is connected to a terminal board that receives input from other boards connected to the system. The control module is also connected to the operator interface, or HMI, allowing access to system data through the Windows platform.
The IS2020RKPSG3A has a rated output power of 400W. Its rated input voltage is 125 Vdc. The module has a Status ID output, a remote +28V PSA output, and an additional five +28V PSA outputs. The module is designed to be mounted on the right side of the VME control and interface rack.
The power supply is installed on the sheet metal support on the right side of the VME rack. At the bottom are the de input, 28v DC output, and 335v DC output connections. At the bottom of the updated design is a state connection. The cable harness supplies power to the VME rack connector through two connectors (PSA and PSB) at the top of the device. Five 28v de power modules each supply power to the VME rack. A, B, C, D, E, and F are the headings of these sections. External devices can be powered through the P28C output at the bottom of the power supply or the PS28. In order to do this, the jumper plug on the bracket on the left side of the rack must be moved from its normal position to the isolated position below.
